Our Book HouseThe Book House in Dinkytown is more than just a book store. It's a local icon and part of the history of this hip old neighborhood adjacent to the University of Minnesota. Because of its proximity to thousands of students and hundreds of professors, Dinkytown has long been a magnet for used book shops and the Book House is the unquestioned Queen among them, having served the community for almost three generations.The Book House has over 150,000 titles in stock including many rare and collectible books, scholarly works, and a substantial section of general literature in paperbacks and hard covers. Located on 14th Avenue Southeast next door to the House of Hanson grocery and just a few doors down from Espresso Royale and Al's Breakfast, the Book House offers hours of browsing pleasure and friendly service.
