Welcome to the Book House in Dinkytown

Located near the East Bank of the University of Minnesota, we've been providing quality used books to the Twin Cities area for over 30 years.  With over 30,000 books in the store and over 30,000 in our warehouse, there's plenty to look at both in store and online.

New books are arriving everyday and getting added to our catalog--you can search these listings using the search function on the left hand side of the page.  However, many sections of the store are not cataloged (like our extensive paperback literature section), so if you are looking for a specific book and you don't see it online, please contact our store directly.

We also buy and sell vinyl!  We were recently named one of the Best Places For Vinyl In Minnesota

Our collection is expanding so be sure to take a look!

Be sure to check our Rare Book Room when you stop in!

Smith will be reading Friday July 18   7:30 at the Book House, 1316 SE 4th St  in Dinkytown.   Thomas has been writing, editing, and teaching poetry for 40 years. His latest collection of poems, Dream Union,  is dedicated to restoring democracy in Wisconsin.
